DRESS stripe wrap dress (under $100, wearing size US 4) | SHOES ancient greek sandals | CLUTCH white embroidered tassel clutch | EARRINGS pearl studs
Here’s how you know I am truly head over heels with something… I pack it up in a crammed suitcase (where every inch counts) and take it across the world with me. That, friends, is the story of this gorgeous little ruffled wrap dress from Nordstrom! And today I’m thrilled to collaborate with them in sharing why the Nordstrom dress department is always my go-to.
I purchased this frock with visions of Easter egg hunts and family brunch in my head. I mean, look at it… is it not absolutely perfect for Easter? Once it arrived, however, I realized I couldn’t wait for this Sunday. It had to come to Asia with me!
I ended up being so happy I brought this blue beauty along for the journey. It’s incredibly light weight, making it easy to pack (and perfect for warm days) and so comfortable! A dress isn’t typically the first piece of clothing you choose for a day of sight-seeing, but I was able to explore to my heart’s content without worrying about pulling anything up or shrugging anything down. Ah, the freedom.
I love the classic femininity this dress exudes without being anything too fitted or fussy. Did I mention that it’s under $100? This is one dress that you can get so much use out of at such a great price point…. Easter, graduation, bridal showers, church, brunch, and the list goes on!
I often get emails asking for advice on finding dresses for all different sorts of occasions, and my answer is always Nordstrom. Whether you’re looking for a prom dress (also this one) or a sorority formal, something for vacation, an Easter frock, graduation dress or a classic LBD, I’ve found Nordstrom to have the best selection… not to mention free shipping!
Those of you who have followed me for a while know that I truly, madly, deeply feel this way. I think half of my closet must be from there! Click here to see for yourself, but be warned. You might find more than a few you can’t pass up! :)
Love from Texas,
P.S. A note on sizing. The Topshop brand runs small, so I recommend going two US sizes up! I typically wear a size 0 in dresses, but wear this dress in a size US 4.
