As the statement jewelry trend has gained such popularity, I’ve started noticing that solids become increasingly prominent across the fashion scene. When cold temperatures force you into knits and sweaters, splashy jewelry is a wonderful way to accessorize. But with spring just around the corner, I’m craving less clutter, and more bright colors and bold patterns.
In that vein, I paired a classic, playfully-patterned skirt from Adelante Boutique with a soft, breezy tee and kept accessories super simple.
What I love about this skirt is it’s versatility.
It’s pattern is striking and fresh, yet composed of simple, classic shapes and colors that will keep it relevant for seasons to come.
Pairing the skirt with simple, casual pieces resulted in a cute, comfortable ensemble I know will be on repeat through the coming months.
As such, I’ve already started thinking of other ways I will style it.
A chambray shirt and cowboy boots would be perfect for a summer concert.
A fun red top and neutral wedges would be dazzling for July 4th celebrations.
skirt – Adelante Boutique // shirt – Adelante Boutique // shoes (similar) // earrings // ring (antique)
You could even add a yellow silky spaghetti strap and sandals for dinner with friends.
Therein lies the beauty of patterns – let them be your statement, and save the heavy earrings and necklaces for colder weather. It’s all about light and bright this spring!
