Today I am giddy to introduce you to two of my new favorite things… the incredible location in today’s post, Hamilton Pool, and the technical apparel brand I had the chance to explore it in, Outdoor Voices! Those of you who have lived in Austin will probably recognize both, as Hamilton Pool is just outside of, and Outdoor Voices is based in one of the coolest cities I’ve ever lived in, ATX.

Outdoor Voices, the line responsible for the incredibly fun athletic-wear I’m wearing above, had just begun to take over Austin during my final few semesters at the University of Texas. Now, a few short years and a new city later, I see their easily recognizable pieces everywhere. I’ve spotted colorful Springs leggings on joggers along the Katy Trail and their crop tops on more than a few riders in spin classes around Dallas. (You’ll also find three in my closet alone.) The hi-tech design and fabric of each piece takes into account the active lifestyle of a girl on the move, which is why Outdoor Voices tops and warmup leggings are the first pieces I reach for when I want to get out of the house and go!

What I love about this line in particular is that Outdoor Voices pieces are made to be moved in, and are built with the belief that fitness should be free from performance. In a world of inspiration accounts and often-unhealthy comparison, I find it so freeing to hear a message that’s all about taking the pressure off of yourself, getting out there and having fun.

It was that mindset that inspired me to take the trip down to Austin and finally visit the hidden gem of Texas, Hamilton Pool. I honestly can’t believe that I never took advantage of it in my 4 years as a student in Austin! Let me tell y’all… the experience was incredible. I had no idea what to expect, but the second I stepped off the trail and onto the rocky beach of the pool, I felt like I was in a different world. From the sparkling waterfall to the turquoise water to the looming crags and rocks, there was so much beauty to take in at every angle. Each vantage point offered a completely different perspective from the last, all completely stunning in their own way.

My favorite moment of the whole experience was stepping off of the trail and onto exact spot where the waterfall breaks onto a large boulder. Talk about feeling alive, y’all. Standing there, water pouring down, arms above my head, I realized there’s so much beauty to be experienced if we just take the time for ourselves to make it happen. I love that Outdoor Voices inspired me to do that for myself, and intend to bring that spirit into the rest of this year ahead!

I’m dying for y’all to head over to the Outdoor Voices website and take a look for yourself. Better yet, if you’re in Austin or Dallas, stop on into one of their stores! (I’ve linked the locations.) I guarantee you you’re going to love mixing and matching their interchangeable pieces in creating the perfect set (or sets, if you’re addicted like me) for you! For starters, check out these aquamarine color block leggings and all the colors in this slashback crop. Have fun!

Love from Texas,

Kate

Working out and eating healthily will need
some willpower. Don’t seek outt it in different single “magic” pill contrived by modern medicine.
It may look contradictory, but also in order to burn fat,
    you have to eat. http://gerardonbds035blog.canariblogs.com/the-oldest-human-diet-1054268

    Hi
Technology has impacted our way of living nowadays big time. There are a lot of benefits we can get from there, but as great as those benefits are, we should also be aware of the danger they bring, no matter how minimal they are.ytmp3 converter
