On the rare occasion I have a summer evening event to dress up for (like maybe my big’s rehearsal dinner?! AH!) I gravitate towards light, girly colors. 
I love rich textures and hues for fall and winter (like the gorgeous dress in this post), but when temperatures skyrocket, I can’t get enough of light pinks, pale yellows, and all things fresh and bright.
