Happy “National Wear Your Lilly Day” my friends! My favorite thing about Lilly Pulitzer as a whole is simply the festivity infused into every aspect of the brand. Who else dedicates a day to celebrating color and cuteness and fun?! I absolutely love it!

I have a few Lilly gems in my closet from over the years, each worthy of being showcased today, but I think it’s safe to say my new Samba shift takes the cake! I was instantly drawn to it because of the gorgeous colors. Like can we talk about that stunning pink? The fact that the print is made up of coral just makes the obsession even deeper! … I’m not girly at all, promise. ;)

What gets me excited about this dress, and what gets me excited about this day, is something I mentioned right above. Lilly is timeless, and I have pieces from so long ago! Instead of getting rid of this dress after a year, I know I’ll be wearing it for many more summers. And that’s part of what makes this day so special – wearing your Lilly on “National Wear Your Lilly Day” can take the form of a new top you just picked up, or a tried and true shift you’ve had for years!
