The “little black dress” is one touted for its effortless style and massive versatility. It makes you feel chic, timeless and glam for any setting! And while I myself believe in the power of a little black dress (with a few in my closet as proof) I think there’s also something to be said about the perfect dress silhouette… one that fits and flatters perfectly, regardless of the hue!

That is exactly what I found in this French Connection minidress. From first glance at the product page, I could tell this was one dress that would last far longer than one season! The elegant high neck, slimming fit and shorter hemline make it a perfect pick for brunches, meetings, wedding showers and even sorority recruitment.

I snatched it up in this bright coral before it sold out, but am happy to report its available in black, pink, blue and a lovely grey-blue as well. I seldom buy two colors of the same item, but made an exception for this beauty. It’s in my cart in black as well!
