Hey, hey y’all! Wow. It’s been a hot second since I’ve brought you a new blog post… about a week to be exact! If you missed it, two Sundays ago I got engaged (!!!) and then set off on a week-long trip to Colorado with my mama.

So needless to say, last week was a whirlwind. Between taking time to process, resting from the non-stop day of surprises and shooting a ton of fall content in Colorado (I am so excited for y’all to see it!) it was all I could do to keep my head on straight and stay awake… hence the radio silence! In hindsight, I’m so glad I had that time away with my mama to let everything sink in, and I am so excited to be back to regular programming starting now. So excited for y’all to see the posts I have planned up my sleeve!

Today, I wanted to introduce you to these darling chambray bow shorts… that are coincidentally on sale for just $27!

Let me be honest. When it comes to shorts, I usually stay far, far away. Give me skirts and dresses all day long! I’ve never been a huge fan of my thighs (I feel like everyone has that one thing they don’t love, as silly as it is!) and it’s so difficult to find shorts that aren’t too short, too tight, or too awkward. Know what I mean?

I figured I’d give these a shot because of the classic, feminine style, I ordered up a size from my usual dress/skirt size and went with a small. Y’all, the fit is perfect! The waist is spot on, and the shorts flare out ever so slightly to create a relaxed, comfortable, flattering look.

From tailgates so dinner out with friends, I can’t recommend these enough. They’re the perfect fall piece for us southern girls!
