JEANS Camo Print Jeans (in size 0) | TOP Black Peplum Top (just $25!) | SHOES The Nudist Stilettos | NECKLACE Delicate Kendra Scott Necklace | CLUTCH Oversized Clutch (old Francesca’s, similar linked) | WATCH Michael Kors Watch | RING Pearl Ring (old H&M, similar linked) | EARRINGS Pearl Studs | LIP COLOR Mod Pink
If you manage to get me in a pair of camo pants, I can assure you of two things:
1. I will be doing nothing remotely close to what camo were created for.
2. I will make them as feminine as possible.
Camo print has slowly but surely been growing on me over the past year. I steered clear of it last fall, but after seeing it worn in surprisingly cute ways, I figured I’d finally give it a shot. These jeans were what inspired me… and their $55 price tag didn’t hurt, either!
To contrast the grung, I added a boxy, glam peplum top and finished the look off with my favorite stilettos and an oversized clutch. A quick word on the top… it’s a mere $25 (!!!) but the cut makes it look a lot more expensive! I can’t wait to wear it (camo pants or not) all throughout the fall.
So all in all, I think this ensemble gives off a look that’s far more girly than GIJoe. :) K gang, I want to get your thoughts/feelings/comments/concerns on camo. Do you love it? And if so, how do you style it?
Love from Texas,
Kate
P.S. If the title of today’s post is lost on you, I beseech you to watch this trailer and then carve out an hour to fall in love with one of the greatest Disney Channel films of my adolescence. #LongLiveHDuff

I’m not a huge fan of camo but this look makes me second guess that in myself! You added a dose of femininity effortlessly. Gorgeous!

Cadet Kelly is a great film, love those Disney Channel originals! I do not currently wear camo (back in the day I used to wear quite a pit of sparkly camo from Limited Too…oops) but this look is cute! Maybe I’ll give it a try again sometime.

Army Pants & Flip Flops! (Heart Eye Emoji!) :)
I love camo – pants, scarf, purse, shirts, tablet case. I’m writing a novel about a soldier, and wearing camo helps me to identify with him, lol.
Personally I’m not a camo person, but you make it look so good! I love how you add such a girly touch to it. I may even try it out myself.
XO Amy
such a cute look Kate. I have some camo pants too, and totally love them.
You can combine them in so many different ways.
