I’ll be the first to confess that when the “midi” length hemline first hit the scene (a hem that extends to mid-calf) I stayed far away. Don’t get me wrong, I love the classic elegance of a dress or skirt this length! It was just that given my shorter stature (I’m all of 5’2″) I was worried a dress in that dimension might absolutely swallow me.
But that’s when stepping out and trying things outside of my comfort zone paid off. The color of this dress completely enamored me, and even though it wasn’t above the knee or full-on maxi like I would have preferred, I figured I could at least give it a try. I’m so happy I did because it’s safe to say I’m in love with this girly pink midi dress!
There’s something refreshingly relaxing and comfortable about a midi dress. I love the femininity it automatically brings to a frock! This one in particular is incredibly comfortable, and comes in four additional colors that are all perfect for fall. I’ll be wearing this pink one well into October, and plan on transitioning it into cooler weather with the addition of an easy denim jacket. Voila!
Last night, my mom and I road tripped down to College Station. We got the chance to grab dinner with my sister before heading to a fun event today! Be sure to follow along on Instagram Stories to see what we’ll be up to!
