latest & greatest vol. 40

Hello, hello friends! This Friday is an especially fun one. It’s Friday the 13th (oooh) which just feels so Halloweeny, and it’s my best friends birthday! Happy birthday Julie!

Not only that, but we’re also back with a new roundup of the cutest new arrivals to hit the web from this past week. The theme of this roundup inadvertently went a little holiday-esque, and I’m not complaining! This romper would be perfect for Christmas parties, and I’d die to see this bag under my tree come Christmas.

As always, here are a few other cute new favorites that didn’t make the collage:

Here are a few weekend sales to be aware of:

  • LOFT // 40% off a huge selection of items, no code needed
  • ASOS // up to 70% off sale, no code needed
  • Lulu & Georgia // 25% off everything with the code HBD
  • Macy’s // 25% off a huge selection of items with code FRESH
  • Serena & Lilly // 20% off everything with code HAPPYDAYS

This weekend is shaping up to be an oh-so-fun one, and a busy one at that! Between birthday celebrations, a Pat Green concert, the TX/OU game (hook ’em!) and leaving for Washington, D.C. on Sunday, my head is already spinning! I’ll be in D.C. until next Friday, and would absolutely love your recommendations. Can’t wait to bring y’all along!

Love from Texas,

Kate

Make sure to stop in Georgetown while you’re in DC! It’s my favorite part of the city with cute little restaurants and (my favorite) Laduree! I also have to add, if you like cupcakes, bite the bullet and wait in line (there usually is at least a small one) at Georgetown Cupcake. I love the classic red velvet, but honestly all of the cupcakes are delish. Hope you have a wonderful time!

Some of my favorite sweet treats are in DC! I love the homemade pop tarts at Ted’s Bulletin and the cupcakes at the Red Velvet Cupcakery. H Street Country Club is another favorite haunt – they have putt putt upstairs! As for shopping, Old Town Alexandria is hard to beat.
