I will be the first to admit I’ve never been one for rompers. Given my petite frame, they always seem to bunch or twist or sit in a funny manner on me… so much so, that I haven’t had one in my closet for the past year! But fate took a turn (for the better!) when I came across this green tropical number at H&M last week…
ROMPER green patterned romper | CLUTCH straw clutch | SHOES white wedges (old Tory Burch, similar linked) | EARRINGS tassel earrings (H&M in store, similar linked) | BRACELET gold wrap bracelet
I immediately fell for the structured silhouette and the striking, beautiful green and white pattern. Far from being your run-of-the-mill, see-it-everywhere style, visions of summer nights by the beach and celebratory dinners with friends immediately came to my mind! And at $40, it made zero sense to leave it in the store.
As for the fit… I was shocked to find that it was perfect! I’m usually a 0 in dresses, but always size to a 4 at H&M, proving to be snug but perfect in this romper. Paired with my favorite straw clutch (a must-have for summer!) and some new tassel earrings, I felt ready to jet off to Tahiti. If you’re looking for a fresh, fun new piece to add to your wardrobe, you’ve found it!
