If we’re being honest, temperatures down here in Texas rarely justify heavy winter coats. (Oh, how I wish that weren’t the case. Needing an excuse to pick up this beauty.) One outerwear piece, however, that fits perfectly with the mild winters we have down south? Fur vests!
I love scouting out the cutest ones available each year since they’re pieces I actually get to wear all winter long. Luckily, there are so many options this year that combine great price points and incredible style.
One of my very favorites? This ivory rabbit fur vest! Believe it or not, I actually bought this beauty back in July as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. (You’ll find it in this post.) As you can imagine, it’s been sitting in my closet all this time just waiting to make its debut.
As the weather has gotten progressively chillier over the past few weeks, I’ve finally gotten to break it out. It goes with everything, is so comfortable, and always gets compliments. It’s hard to predict what you’ll be wearing in the winter right in the middle of summer, but I’m so glad I pulled the trigger on this cute vest.
Here are a few other styles I’m loving:
As I’m sure you are, I am thrilled it’s the start of November! And at the same time, completely astounded we’re already here. Crazy! I spent some time writing out my goals for the month in my Power Sheets and thought it might be fun to share those. Would y’all be interested in that? Let me know!
Love from Texas,

I would love to see some of your goals for the month-that’s one of my favorite parts about a new month…a fresh start to new goals!

I’d love it!
I wish I knew that you actually bought and blogged about using real fur sooner, I would have stopped following your blog long ago.
We have so many better options with faux—real fur is unnecessary and cruel…disappointing.
I agree with N and WB. I will be unfollowing this blog. Please do not promote real fur, it is disgusting.
A lovely outfit; perfect for fall and superb booties ;)
