Saturday Companion

If we’re being honest, there’s nothing I love more than an easy spring Saturday.

A Lonestar State of Southern

Saturdays are the days I get to trade in Nike shorts for jean cutoffs, far too colorful tennies for worn-in sandals, my strict diet for a cheat day (hehe gotcha – I don’t understand the word diet and my tweets evidence that embarrassingly well), and my pink North Face backpack for something a little more stylish and a little less cumbersome…

My Barrington bag.

A Lonestar State of Southern

I received this tote a couple of weeks ago, and have already put it to use more than a few times.

A Lonestar State of Southern

I foresee a lot of fun adventures with this one…
A Lonestar State of Southern

Road trips, farmers market excursions, Saturday errands, coffee dates, and those rare days I dress cute (aka not like a homeless person) to class.

A Lonestar State of Southern

The leather detailing makes it a quick match with most of my closet (including my new Topshop sandals), and the monogram… well, do I even need to go further? I’d bet we’re all on the same page about monograms. #love

A Lonestar State of SouthernSpeaking of monograms, did I mention that it is customizable? Multiple patterns and shades are offered, including plenty of school and sorority color combinations. I’m loving the orange ikat for high school seniors headed to the University of Texas next year, and the black houndstooth for Mother’s Day. (Mom, if you’re reading this I don’t mean you…. another mom.)

Head to Barrington to create your own spring Saturday companion, graduation gift, Mother’s Day present, the list goes on. This little number will fit the bill perfectly. And feel free to shop similar items from this look below. As always…

Love from Texas,

Kate
