my #nsale home decor picks

Happy Monday, friends! I don’t know about y’all, but I had the best weekend. Andrew wasn’t on call (praise hands!) and we didn’t have any unpacking to do, so we got to settle into a “normal” weekend rhythm… and it was great!

I attended my favorite dance fitness class (wearing this new #nsale outfit!) and broke out a new ensemble for date night. (Seriously can’t get over this tote!) Andrew even managed to talk me into a few holes of golf, which I wore this super lightweight dress for. We were exhausted by Sunday evening, but I guess that’s the sign of a good weekend, don’t ya think?

I also checked in on IG stories to see what blog posts y’all would like to see coming up. By far, the most commonly requested categories were wedding & home decor! Which happen to be two of my favorite topics lately, so that works out well. :)

Today, I thought I’d fill you in on my favorite Nordstrom Anniversary Sale home decor pieces and answer a few questions I got on my living room last night!

The #NSale really is a great place to take advantage of home pieces, especially since they can get so expensive. There’s an amazing selection of rugs on sale (see them all here!) as well as blankets and cute accessories. See my favorites below! I ordered two of the light pink rugs (one for my office and one for our spare room) and I can’t wait to get them in.

Now, to answer your questions about the living room snap I shared on Instagram last night. (Follow me here!) I’ll be doing a full reveal once the whole house comes together, but in the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek!

details

PAINTING // I got tons of DMs about this painting, and you’ll never ever guess where it’s from. Homegoods! I bought it for about $45 two years ago, and never had a place to put it until now. It goes perfectly with all of the whites, blues and natural tones of our living room and is my new-found obsession. I wish I could hunt it down for y’all!

CHAIR // Another hot item y’all have been asking about? This white chair! Another IKEA buy, specifically the “Farlov.” I removed the back cushion and replaced it with two of these pillows. It’s so lovely, roomy and stylish in person and I highly recommend!

GINGER JARS // I bought all of my ginger jars from one of my favorite Dallas-based home interior companies, Wisteria! They have a beautiful selection of ginger jars and urns, and are available here.

SIDE TABLE // This acrylic tray table was another Homegoods find. Here’s a nearly identical style!

LAMP // Target, y’all, and still in stock here! It’s under $50 but looks way more expensive than that.

I can’t wait to share more details with you soon, but for now I hope this satisfies your home decor hunger!

Before I sign off, I wanted to remind you that it’s Amazon Prime Day! To be quite honest, the whole thing overwhelms me a bit, but if you have the stomach for it, there are lots of great deals. Check them all out here!

Love from the Sunshine State,

Kate

They then go on to share about their past weekend experience. They mention that their partner, Andrew, was not on call which suggests that Andrew’s work schedule usually interferes with their weekend plans. magicrugs.com

I love all of these ideas! That lint container is super cute. Our laundry room is dark and depressing, so I’m definitely going to use these ideas to brighten it up.to glue leather
