Dresses, y’all. I can’t get enough of them. In fact, one of my favorite things about spring and summer is how easy it is to find casual, grab-and-go dresses for everything from errands to date nights.
Like any other girl, I love the arrival of fall. In the back of my head, though, I know it means a few months of the continuous jeans + boots cycle. While I love that classic look, I end up craving a change before too long.
That’s why I was thrilled to find this j.crew button down dress. I love how versatile it is… throw it on with ballet flats for errands or a lunch out, or dress up with heeled boots for a smarter look. It’s comfortable, classic, and the perfect “don’t have to think twice” option for the autumn girl on the go. Keep in mind, since I’m 5’2″ I had the hemline taken up a bit!
Now if they’d just come out in a few more colors of this style, I’d be set!

I absolutely love dresses like that! I love Spring and Summer as well because of all the dresses you can throw on, but this dress is perfect for a throw on dress in fall.
