6 fall headbands i own and love

If there’s one trend I’ve subscribed wholeheartedly to, it’s the headband! As someone who hates hair in her face, I find this accessory to be not only pretty but perfectly practical as well. And over the past few months, it’s safe to say I’ve acquired quite the collection.

When I popped on Instagram Stories this weekend to share this fun try-on haul, I got so many questions about the headband I had on, as well as the ones I had on display in the background. (Here is the display I use.) So today, I’d love to walk you through six styles, in particular, that I’m wearing and loving this fall and winter!

I feel the same way about headbands as I do about statement earrings… they’re so fun, but can go wrong in a flash. It’s important to choose those that have a perfect combination of shape, color, and fabric in order to complement ensembles instead of throwing them out of wack. This list strikes the perfect balance, and I hope you love it!

rust headband

At $10, this fun headband is a budget-buy, which makes me feel good about it’s statement-worthy fabric and color! The perfect way to spruce up a classic white blouse + skinny jeans combination. All my University of Texas ladies, you need!

tan headband

Until recently, I had the hardest time finding classic headbands in my favorite fall hue, cognac. This one is such a staple… simple silhouette (not puffy if that’s not your thing!), perfect color, and an attractive price point. Love it!

braided headband

Anthropologie has by far been my favorite destination for a large adorable, unique headbands at affordable price points… usually around $20! This braided headband is so good and comes in a myriad of neutral colors like dark brown, black, and ivory. I wore it in this try on and y’all loved it!

suede-ish headband

Remember when I talked about finding the perfect combination of color, fabric and shape? This suede-inspired headband has it all! It’s truly the perfect fall neutral, and comes in six other gorgeous hues you’ll love too!

floral headband

When one of my favorite brands, Mi Golondrina, first introduced their embroidered headband, I was immediately obsessed. Their newest braided style became an instant favorite as well. I own this blue and white floral, which looks gorgeous during fall and winter paired with creams and navies.

velvet headband

I own one Lele Sadoughi headband, and while I think most are way too expensive, this classic black velvet piece is worth every penny! It definitely earns the title of “most-worn” ever since I bought it around this time last year. Highly, highly recommend! (You’ll find it styled here, here, and here!)

From the looks of things, it doesn’t appear that the headband trend will be heading out of the door anytime soon! And while I’m not usually such a sucker for trends, it’s one I’m quite happy to see stick around. :)

Love from the Sunshine State,

Kate

Yes! I am growing out my hair and have really gotten into headbands the last couple months. And as I type this, I am wearing that *exact* Lele Sadoughi headband. I agree about the price, but when it’s that useful, it’s totally worth it.
