our wedding vendors

I can hardly believe I’m here… in my new home in Gainesville, Florida, with my new husband, a new last name, and almost one month into the best adventure ever… marriage!

This past month has been a whirlwind, to say the least. From marrying the love of my life to honeymooning in St. Lucia to packing up our life in Dallas and moving to a new home in Florida, it is surreal to finally be sitting at an actual desk, a cup of coffee in hand, soaking it all in! Ahh… I have been looking forward to this moment for so long, friends. Life is finally, dare I say it, settling down.

I have so much to update you on… but one of the most exciting things has been receiving my wedding photos! Eek! I have been waiting to share details from the wedding until their arrival, so ever since I’ve been planning and scheduling and laying everything wedding-related post out for y’all. Let’s just say there is so much coming your way soon! Here’s a sneak peek at the wedding-related posts you can expect to see coming up (in no particular order)…

… and so much more! This is just a sneek peak of what’s to come. Needless to say, “Wedding Wednesdays” aren’t going anywhere! I am so excited, however, to bring back more lifestyle and fashion content around here. So if you’ve been missing that over these past few months, fear not!

To kick it all off, I wanted to share a consolidated list of the vendors Andrew and I used for our wedding. I’ve mentioned the importance of choosing incredible wedding vendors, and proudly vouch for and stand behind each of these incredible teams 100%.

Feel free to click through and get to know each, and don’t forget! I’ll be sharing more details about many of them soon!

So happy for you Kate. I’ve been following you for some time and excited for you as you share with us the best day of your life!! Enjoy Gainesville….GO GATORS. I live in Jacksonville, Fl, but spent 4 years traveling back and forth to G’ville. My son went to UF and then law school in Chicago, but now is back in South Florida. Welcome to the Sunshine State….we love to have you here! :)) Suzanne

God please NO MORE WEDDING CONTENT. I can’t take it anymore. I know you’re excited but you’ve got to move on. We don’t need to hear about this wedding every week for the next 6 months. Please go back to regular content.

Hi Jenn, sorry to hear that! I’m not posting for my own amusement – these wedding-related posts have been requested over and over by readers who do, in fact, want to hear more about it. Now that I’m finally settled in Gainesville, I’ll be bringing normal content back to the blog. Feel free to skip any wedding-related posts in the future. :) xo Kate

Hey Kate! This is such an exciting time in your life and I am so excited to see some more peeks of your wedding. I’m wondering if parts of your wedding were gifted or sponsored by vendors in return for coverage on the blog? Wedding planning is such a high pressure situation for brides-to-be and I think having a realistic picture of what things cost would be super helpful. No shade either way; your blog is your business after all. I just wondered if anything had been provided for y’all due to your unique profession. Hopefully this doesn’t come across as rude. Congratulations and best wishes to you and Andrew!

I would love to have specific details on your wedding day makeup. What foundation did you wear, what lipstick did you wear, blush, eye shadow, lashes, etc. did everything last the whole night. Would you have worn something different. Excited to read all your posts :)
