First Friday of 2019, I’ll cheers to that! Whether you’re back to work or still in vacay mode, I hope this week has been treating you well. There’s something about a “new start” that never gets old to me, and I’ve loved getting back into the swing of things around here!
One area in particular that I’ve kickstarted this week (along with 90% of everyone else, I’d guess) is getting back to healthy eating and working out! Anyone else? I took a blissful two weeks of resting and eating every Christmas goodie in sight, and now am excited to jump back on the healthy bandwagon this year.
I’m doing things a little differently in 2019, as I have a wedding to prepare for! I’ve always been pretty good about eating in moderation and working out when I felt like it, but I’m aiming to be much more disciplined these next five months.
This week, I’ve spent lots of time researching new workouts, recipes and health-related items to kick-start this mindset, and I thought it would be fun to share those with you today! I have to tell y’all about the obé app… I saw it on an Instagram ad and was immediately hooked! The classes are so upbeat and fun, and they are live streamed. Definitely something worth looking into if you’re wanting a new exercise outlet! Out of curiosity, do any of y’all use it?? I’m new, but have loved it so far!
Before signing off, I want to stop and just say how incredibly thankful I am for all of the words of encouragement and fabulous recommendations I received surrounding Wednesday’s announcement! Y’all truly blew me away. I’ve been recording each and every recommendation into an excel spreadsheet – haha! So truly, thank you so much for your excitement around this upcoming new season!
