Mamma Mia… here we go again!
Did anyone else see (and love) the new Mamma Mia movie?! I saw it twice. In the span of a week.
I explained in my IG stories a few weeks back that my sister and I actually grew up listening to the “Best of ABBA” album. Long story short, my parents were super protective over what we listened to/watched growing up, and radio disney didn’t make the nice list. (You can’t make this stuff up.) So one fated evening in the middle of a family road trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, my father stopped into a truck stop and came out with that. CD.
It’s been our golden standard ever since! We know every. song. So needless to say, the Mamma Mia movies have been our thing.
Now, I’ve always loved the look of flare jeans, but because I’m so short (all of 5’2″ over here) I usually have an impossible time finding them. The knee always seems to hit me halfway down through my calf so there ends up being no flare at all. That’s why when I came across this pair before my recent trip tip California, I could have fainted from excitement.
They are large. And IN CHARGE, y’all. There’s no denying it. But there’s something about that oversized-drama that also makes them incredibly flattering.
My mom calls me crazy for loving them, but hey… when you’re born in the wrong decade and miss your calling to be in one of the 70s biggest pop groups, what else can you do?
And heads up… they’re under $100 and come in quite a few different colors.
Love from Texas,
P.S. Did anyone else do some labor day sale shopping yesterday? I did! And I’m getting ready to rev up my engines again for the Lilly Pulitzer After Party sale that starts online next Monday! Check out all of the info here.
