If I had to guess, I’d say sweaters are probably the last thing on your shopping list right now. And when it’s still 90 degrees outside, I can’t blame you! Even though temperatures are far from full-blown fall weather, the fashion world is charging on into autumn, and last year I learned that the best styles go quick. So today, I’m partnering up with Nordstrom to share three sweaters under fifty dollars that are worth buying now!
1. Flare Sleeve Sweater – $39
Let’s start off with my favorite style, the one I’m wearing above, this lovely flare sleeve sweater. Since the bell-sleeve is the silhouette of the season, you’ll be right on-trend in this cute piece! I love the gorgeous lilac shade I’m wearing above, and also bought it in a deep rust shade as well. (In fact, it’s nearly identical to a style that sold out last year.) It’s incredibly soft, lightweight, and versatile. I went down one size and ordered an XXS.
2. Pink Knit Tunic – $45
One strategy I consistently employ during the gloomy months of winter is bringing bright, happy color into my wardrobe. Pink, of course, is a must! I can’t wait to wear this v-neck sweater out during the coming months. Already dreaming of it paired with leopard ballet flats and white jeans!
3. Dolman Sleeve Sweater – $39
This is another sweater I went ahead and ordered in two colors… blush and gray! The mock turtle neck is so effortlessly elegant. This is one sweater silhouette that is incredibly unique, absolutely lovely, ever-so-soft, and won’t be in stock long! I also went down a size in this one and ordered an XXS.
Like I said, it may feel like the strangest thing in the world to stock up on sweaters now, but you’ll be so happy you did once that cool weather starts creeping in! I’ll be wearing mine in the meantime to cold restaurants, movie theaters, and church, where I typically freeze if I’m not bundled up. Anyone else?!
