I must say… today’s post is a far stretch from yesterday’s fun flamenco look. But I guess the ruffle is keeping the same feel going? (Can you tell I’m in denial about being back?)
In all seriousness, I have been really looking forward to sharing this top with y’all, because it’s one I’ve owned and have been wearing for the past few weeks now! In fact, I even packed it up for Spain, but didn’t get the chance to wear it as we had more cold weather days than I’d planned for.
As much as a statement as the top makes (don’t you love the off the shoulder look mixed with the halter top detailing?) this blouse is surprisingly versatile, and one I’ve constantly reached for paired with denim shorts for errands around town, white jeans and wedges for dinners with friends, and even a little white skirt for weekend brunch! It comes in four darling colors, and while $80 is a bit more than I typically prefer to spend on tops, I’ve found it has been SO worth it.
I know I joked about being in denial about being home above, but in all seriousness, I am so glad to be home y’all. This spring has felt like a series of non-stop travel, and it’s a season in my life I will always be incredibly grateful for! But there’s nothing like getting back to the people and routine you love. Yesterday was normal from start to finish (running errands, taking a SoulCycle class, getting Monday night dinner with my mom) and I loved every second of it! And so looking forward to getting back in a rhythm here with y’all on Lonestar Southern. Spotty wi-fi and different time zones are no match for a girl!
Love from Texas,
