DRESS tassel off the shoulder dress (petite, also available in regular sizes in white, red and black) | SHOES block heel platform espadrilles (purchased in Mexico, similar linked) | EARRINGS white tassel earrings c/o | BRACELET gold link bracelet c/o | BAG straw pom pom bag (purchased in Mexico, similar linked)
Let’s be real… even though they may look the most “put together” out of the bunch, dresses take the cake over all other ensembles when it comes to comfort! That’s why whenever spring rolls around, I keep my eyes peeled for easy, hassle-free frocks that keep me looking collected without a lot of effort. It’s amazing how quickly I reach for them… oftentimes they are even easier than athleisure! (I know, I just said it. But it’s true! Leggings, you’ve got competition..)
This tasseled off the shoulder dress from ASOS was a no brainer. The colorful tassel sleeves, the roomy cut (i.e. no spanx needed) and $31 price tag had me even before hello. In fact, I loved it so much that I also bought it in this all-white version as well!
For all you vertically-blessed ladies out there, do be aware that this is a “petite” style. The all-white, red and black styles are offered in regular, though, but hurry! Sizes are selling out quick!
And since ASOS can get tricky with sizing, I ordered a 4 petite in the multi-colored and a 2 regular in the all-white. The difference? The 2 regular was about 2″ longer than the 4 petite!
I am going to be the busiest of bees today, as I’m preparing not only for a super fun weekend, but an incredible next week abroad as well! One of my best friends from college, Leigh, is getting married this weekend (!!!) and the cowboy is flying in for the celebrations tomorrow afternoon. Then, I’m headed on the biggest adventure of my entire life (not even exaggerating) first thing Sunday morning! This has been one of those “no coming up for air” weeks, but I know it will all be worth it! :) (Now, will someone please deliver me fresh Starbucks iced lattes in 20 minute intervals?)
Love from Texas,
Kate
P.S. How fun are the shoes I’m wearing in today’s post? I purchased these while in San Miguel, Mexico for about thirty US dollars! I’ve found similar styles here and here, but am on the hunt for a closer match for y’all!
This dress is so cute, Kate! It reminds me of something that you could wear to the beach or bring it in your suitcase for Seaside, FL! I love how you accessorized- not too much, just enough! Great post once again!

I scooped this up in the petite style because I love the multicolored tassels. It’s going to be great for beach and pool trips all summer. Great suggestions as always, Kate!
Love the dress, Kate! So cute!
These are the best dresses-I got a plain white and plain black from ASOS last spring and wore them SO much. So easy to dress up or down and accessorize.
I am obsessed with all the cute tassels that you’ve been showing off on the blog! And I totally agree, dresses are super easy to wear. I teach and reaching fora dress most mornings is infinitely easier than putting together pants, a blouse, and some kind of shoe combo!
