“So do you have any siblings?” That one common question, often asked as a means of perpetuating small talk, always manages to bring a goofy grin and eye roll to my face and instantly enlivens the conversation.
Why yes I do. One sister. Younger by three years. Complete opposite in every way. Couldn’t be more close. Meet the sis, everyone!

When I was introduced to the #spreadofsoftness campaign by Splendid, one of my favorite brands for so-cozy-you-never-want-to-take-off wardrobe staples, I couldn’t wait to jump on board in answering one simple question… How do you spread softness? Me? In an age of cell phones and social media, by trying to make quality time for the people who matter most
Once I moved into a new apartment after a year at home early this summer, I realized how much I missed having my sister always around. Oh, less fights over the remote, bathroom counter space and each other’s closets for sure, but also less fun! It took me all of two seconds to realize what was needed… a good old fashioned sister sleepover.
We cozied up in our favorite Splendid pieces (I wear this tee all the time), bought out the Target candy aisle, and binge watched our favorite Netflix shows. Add in a few sugar-high induced snapchats and 3rd grade worthy prank calls, and let me tell you… you’ve got yourself a night for the books! To take a line from Jack Johnson, things really are always better when we’re together.
In the vein of spreading softness, I am so excited to partner with Splendid for a fun giveaway! By clicking the image below, you can enter to win an exclusive “Soft Tees for Softies” pack. Best of luck, friends!
I had so much fun putting this post together with Splendid, and hope it encourages you to spread some softness in your own day-to-day. As always, thanks for reading!

Thank you, Splendid, for sponsoring this post!
My sister and I are just like you two! Different personalities, three years apart, but best friends (well, most of the time haha). Love this post! So cute.

Hello from Fort Worth! I loved the photos from your sleepover. There is nothing like having a sister. My sister is 6 years younger. She’s completely opposite from me in looks, personality, and style. Kinda like Edith and Mary from Downton Abbey! But at the end of that day she’s my sister, and the only one who can make me belly laugh!

This is so cute! May brother is 6 years younger than I am and I’m sure he won’t be trying to have any sleepovers with me anytime soon, so I’m SUPER jealous! It looks like you gals had so much fun!

This looks like so much fun! I wish I had a sister to do things like this with. Of course, I have my best friend of twenty years but it would be cool to have a biological sister too. I’m not sure my brother who is two years older than me wants to have a sleepover. lol
