shopbop spring event sale // what’s in my cart

The Shopbop Spring Event sale is here, and y’all, get excited. It’s only one of my very favorite sales of the year!

In some ways, it feels like the spring version of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale… new spring pieces marked down before the season really even begins makes it too good to be true! Here are the details:

Shopbop Spring Event Sale

CODE: SPRING

15% off orders of $200+

20% off orders of $500+

25% off orders of $800+

Ends: March 8, 2020

I cover this sale every season as it’s what I use to purchase a few high-quality, higher-price tagged items I wear all spring and summer long. Today, I’m showing you what’s in my cart, as well as a few other favorites of mine!

what’s in my cart

A pair of classic espadrille wedges never goes out of style! I’m so excited about this fresh, white pair. They have a higher heel height than my old pair, and I can’t wait to wear them with everything!

A White Spring Bag

I’ve been eyeing this white spring bag for a few weeks now. I’m not a huge bag person, but for some reason I’m in love with it! Such a great price point for a fun, fresh bag this seasono.

 My Dream Dress

Ever since I saw the maxi version of this beautiful orange and pink ombre dress, I’ve been dreaming of packing it up on our anniversary trip this summer! Excited to get this mini version on sale, as I think I’ll wear it even more than the maxi. Hooray!

My Favorite Sandals

Let me start off by stating the obvious: these sandals are too expensive. BUT, and I know it sounds crazy, I think they are worth it! I’ve owned a pair for a few years now (that I bought during the Shopbop Sale) and have worn them all over the world. They are so comfortable, flattering, and I’m so in love, I’m replacing them!

A Versatile Woven Belt

I have been searching for a neutral woven belt for weeks. This season, there are so many flowy dresses and skirts that would look amazing with one! Unfortunately, I’ve had no luck until now. This one is expensive, but I’m hoping it’s worth it!

Classic White Blouse

While it honestly pains me to spend anything over $50 for a blouse, I’ve found that year after year, classic, white tops are the piece I most often reach for. I love that this one can be worn with everything from jean shorts to maxi skirts and of course, a classic skinny jean. Obsessed with the gathered neckline and sleeves!

Straw & Pearl Clutch

This clutch was definitely a splurge, but one I’ve been eyeing for a while now. Again, that’s why I love this sale! Getting to purchase beautiful investment pieces at a discounted price. It is, in every way, perfect. Simple, elegant, and timeless with a beautiful pearl clasp. So excited!

Honorary Mention Unmentionables

Forgive me for including these, but they are my favorite so I had to let y’all know! Comfortable, quality, and go seamlessly under everything. I always grab a set during this sale.

I just clicked “submit order” and am doing a little happy dance in my chair right now! Everything will arrive tomorrow, so plan on a try-on of everything above. I also purchased a few other items I can’t wait to try out and show y’all, so stay tuned!

Like I mentioned above, I wanted to share a few other Shopbop Spring Event favorites! Some of these pieces are higher priced than those that I normally feature here on Lonestar Southern, so do keep that in mind. But my hope is if you’re on the hunt for something special, this sale allows you to get your dream piece!
