shopbop fall event // 5 splurge-worthy brands to save big on

It’s here! It’s here! Shopbop is hosting their big semi-annual sale, where nearly everything site-wide (including new arrivals) is on sale for up to 25% off. Here are the details!

25% off orders of $800+

Over the years, I have strategically used this sale to purchase higher-priced items that are, to this day, true closet-staples. Take the Stuart Weitzman heels I wore to my rehearsal dinner, for example, not to mention more than a few cocktail dresses for special events.

I love budget-friendly buys more than most, but if there’s ever a wise time to purchase a higher-priced, special item you’ve had your heart set on, it’s during this sale.

As you’re shopping, I thought it would be helpful to share a few brands I’m loving that rarely go on sale. Be warned… there’s lots of pretty below!

ALEXANDRE BIRMAN

I have had my eye on Alexandre Birman for months now. There’s something so sophisticated and sweet about the beautiful bow detailing that adorns many of their styles. I haven’t been able to make myself pay full price, and I’ve found that this brand hardly ever goes on sale. That’s why I’m so excited to see them included in the Shopbop event! I may or may not have grabbed this cute pair I’ve been loving for months.

MISA

As someone who wears a lot of dresses, I’ve always loved the flirty, fun silhouette of MISA creations. Since the price tag is higher for a more casual dress, I’ve only ever purchased one. (For my honeymoon, in last year’s Shopbop sale!) But I’ve been drooling over this perfect white dress for months, and am so happy to have scored it for 25% off! Planning on wearing it with sandals in the summer and booties with a jean jacket this fall.

Lele Sadoughi

I was slow to jump on the headband train, but now that I’m on board I have no intention of hopping off anytime soon. Lele Sadoughi was one of the originators of the trend, and while her headbands are a bit pricier, they’re worth every penny. I included some fun, fresh styles below, but this classic black number is easily my most-worn. Highly recommend! Don’t sleep on the earrings, either. Just bought this pearl bow pair!

Stine Goya

If you love all things bold and beautiful, you’re going to love Stine Goya. I can’t help but feel happy taking in the vibrant, fun styles this brand creates! Since Stine Goya pieces definitely come with a higher price tag, this sale is a great time to grab a piece at a discount. How fabulous is this pink dress?!

Stuart Weitzman

I’m fully convinced that Stuart Weitzman shoes are worth their weight in gold. Yes, they are a bit pricy, but the gorgeous quality and timeless styles are worth it in my opinion! I actually purchased the sky-high “Nudist” style in black a few years ago during this same Shopbop sale event. To this day, it’s one of my favorite shoes! (Not very comfortable, mind you, but beauty is pain right?) I ended up buying the same style in beige for my rehearsal dinner. If you’re looking for a timeless shoe you’ll wear to every fancy event ever… look no further! P.S. The “nudistsong” is a lower heel and much more comfortable!

Whether or not you’re shopping this sale, I hope these perusing these pretty pieces are a fun way to start your week!

Love from the Sunshine State,

Kate

P.S. I had to mention that the smocked dress I received countless questions on earlier this summer is back in stock! I love it so much that I just purchased it in red.
