Let me just start off by saying this… How amazing is it that you woke up to it being Saturday today?! You still have the whole weekend ahead after what was hopefully a fun, long day of 4th of July celebrations. Waking up to the weekend? Nothing better in my book!
This past Tuesday, my family and I went to our lake house for the first time this summer. Heavens, was it wonderful. All day out in the sun, waterproof not at all waterproof sunscreen (I’ve got a Rudolf nose to prove it), crazy beautiful sunsets, an abundance of sunburns, family time, popsicles, powdered donuts (our breakfast tradition), water skiing, country music, mosquitos, accidental gulps of lake water, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
I spent every possible second in my lake house uniform – swimsuit and PFG. Don’t get me wrong, I love a cute coverup any day, but when it comes to functionality and comfort, fishing shirts are my favorite. They are durable, light, monogrammable, and come in so many cute colors. Plus, they don’t come with the hefty price tags that accompany most cute coverups! And as for my swimsuit… Rah Rah is it. Take a gander at their site and try to convince me otherwise. Customizable. Monogrammed. Swimmies. Need I say more? Didn’t think so. ;)
