leopard print & pink

pink kate spade coat

COAT   kate spade pink coat (on sale, and take an extra 30% off with code SPRINKLES)   |   CLUTCH   clare v. calf hair clutch dupe (similar here)   |   BOOTS   tall suede slouch boots   |   JEANS   black toothpick jeans   |   SCARF   cozy oversized blanket scarf   |   SHIRT   white mock turtle neck

When it comes to favorite fashion combinations, any ensemble containing tasteful pops of leopard print and pink almost always gets an A+ in my book. I love how feminine and flirty the two look together! Throw those into a wintery mix in Central Park, however, and we’re suddenly on a completely different level.

I’d been dying to pull out this pink Kate Spade coat since August, but as well all know, temperatures in Texas that time of year don’t exactly make that a socially acceptable outfit choice. It has to be one of the most beautifully-feminine pieces I have ever owned. Everything from the soft shade to the jeweled buttons to the oversized lapels make it something straight out of a modern day fairy tale. Luckily enough for me, temperatures in New York City were just right for it’s debut out of the wardrobe and into Central Park! (And just so you know… it’s currently on sale, and you can get another 30% off with the code SPRINKLES)

Then we have this little leopard clutch… anyone a fan of the Clare V. calf hair clutch that simply does not go out of style? This one looks incredibly similar, and with genuine calf hair, but at nearly a tenth of the price. I seriously couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the price tag, and couldn’t snatch it up quick enough! I just saw that it’s currently low on stock. The good news is I’ve found another dupe for under $100 here!

This was one of my favorite outfits from my NYC trip. This Texas girl loves any excuse to bundle up in actual !

Love from Texas,

Kate

      • Many thanks to you for sharing most of these wonderful threads. In addition, the perfect travel as well as medical insurance approach can often relieve those worries that come with travelling abroad. Some sort of medical crisis can in the near future become too expensive and that’s likely to quickly put a financial impediment on the family finances. Putting in place the great travel insurance package prior to setting off is well worth the time and effort. Thank you
