Hello, hello friends, and happy Sunday! I know that you don’t normally see me around here on the weekends, but today something exciting is happening that I’ve been dying to fill you in on… I’m jumping on a plane and heading to Santa Fe, New Mexico!

This vibrant city holds a special place in my family’s heart, as it’s where my mom and dad honeymooned many years ago! They fell in love with the city’s gorgeous adobe architecture, numerous art galleries, and incomparable food scene, and have been going back (and talking me and my sister’s ears off about it) ever since.

I was just a kid the last time I made the trip, so needless to say I am ecstatic to explore the city as a young adult now. There is so much I’m excited to do and see!

We have a packed itinerary, and I’ll be posting about it on Instagram the entire time. To give you a taste of what’s coming, think cooking lessons, gallery viewings, flamenco performances, and margarita tastings to name a few!

I’m planning on doing plenty of shopping as well, and some gorgeous turquoise jewelry is at the top of my list! I think there are worse ways to spend half of a week, don’t you?

In terms of packing, I’m bringing along pieces that really play into the southwestern charisma of this city. Think boots, denim, western belts, etc. I have a few fun ensembles planned that I can’t wait to share with you!

In the meantime, take a peek at the collage above for inspiration. The dress, hoop earrings, belt, and booties are all coming with me, and I can’t wait to show you what else, as well. (Hint hint, a stunning splurge I wore as a top this weekend!)

First things first, checking into Sunrise Springs Spa Resort and the dinner at the Blue Heron. Then, I’m hoping to take a dip in this amazing Ojitos soaking experience. Can’t wait to fill y’all in as I explore Santa Fe! Let me know if you have any recommendations!
