I’d consider myself a “bright” person – drawn to vibrant colors, sunny weather, upbeat music, etc. Live colorfully? Sure, Kate Spade, this girl’s all in! So while black on black on black is typically a more edgy look, I managed to escape the moroseness while keeping the chic-factor intact with this perfect top.
Vivid embroidery, off the shoulder, and pom poms? There’s not a more perfect combination in my book.
(Except Nutella and crepes but that’s totally unrelated)
Black jeans, my favorite heels, and a topaz ring were the only additional pieces necessary – I didn’t even add my go-to pearl earrings in my objective to give the sleeves the spotlight they deserve.
It’s the perfect look for the reluctant-to-leave chilly evenings that stretch until late March.
But I’d be lying if I denied daydreaming about the summer nights I’ll be able to throw this on with cut-off’s and cowboy boots.
In your upcoming shopping adventures, keep an eye out for unexpected color and flair. There’s no better way to make a statement!
