Think back with me… do you remember a time before statement earrings? What on earth did we wear? I’m kidding, of course, but I genuinely do remember the first time I saw a pair of “statement” earrings. I was a sophomore in college at the University of Texas in Austin, and a girl in my sorority had on these turquoise beauties. I spent the rest of the afternoon asking around trying to figure out where on earth she got them. My search, as I’m sure you’ve guessed it, led me straight to Kendra Scott!
In my opinion, Kendra Scott (who is from Austin, Texas if you didn’t know!) is in every way the originator of the statement earring. The classic Danielle silhouette introduced thousands of us to the joys of bringing bold shapes and colors into our jewelry box! Since then I know that I, along with many of you, haven’t looked back.
I have loved watching the evolution of Kendra Scott designs over the years, and have to say that this spring collection is one of my favorites yet. These five pieces showcased above embody that bold, elegant, free-spirited essence that turns any outfit from standard to show-stopping. In fact, I wore this pair last night to transform a cocktail dress ensemble from the expected (and snooze-worthy) to something modern and fresh! Let me tell y’all… these pieces are not ones to pass up!
