COAT faux fur skirted coat (wearing size XS, wish I had ordered an XXS) | BOOTS sorel joan of arctic snow boots | LEGGINGS zella live in leggings | TOP black cropped mock neck top | EARRINGS pearl studs
It feels so funny to be sharing this post today in Dallas… outside my office window, the sky is bright blue and the air is a perfect 71 degrees. It’s hard to imagine that just a couple weeks ago I was enjoying a snowy weekend in Snowmass, Colorado!
Since we all know Texas temperatures never allow for an extensive outerwear wardrobe, trips to colder climates finally allow me to bundle up in pieces I’ve been eyeing all winter long.
This season, we saw cold-weather style take the shape of oversized, extravagantly puffy pieces. While I loved the look (I mean, how cozy?!) I was beside myself with excitement to come across this perfectly princess-like coat in the sea of marshmallow jackets.
I have to say, the photos really don’t do this faux fur skirted coat justice. Every detail is so lovely and lady-like, from the A-line skirt, the flattering, waisted silhouette, and gorgeous gold hardware to the sumptuous faux-fur trim. I couldn’t help but feel like a modern-day Cinderella in this beauty!
When I ordered this coat, the smallest size available was an XS. While it works nicely, I wish I had been able to purchase an XXS. I’m so excited to have found it in stock in all sizes in deep navy and a gorgeous burgundy! I’m in black, which is available in limited sizes here.
I have one more Colorado look to share with you, and then it’s on to Spring finds, friends! Who’s excited?
Love from Texas,
Kate
