Happy Thursday, friends! It’s been a while since my last coffee date (did you catch it here?) so I thought I’d pull together a little recap of what I’ve been up to (and wearing) lately. And heads up, I’m throwing in something a little different… Hope you enjoy!

New riding boots! I know it seems so early to be thinking about them now… but Tory Burch styles always sell out really quick! Something to think about if you’re eyeing one of them… (I’m using mine as decor until the weather cools…)

Finally, to switch things up a bit, I thought I’d share a couple of personal Instagrams from the past few weeks! These are much more “real life,” and I love sharing that part of my world with y’all. So here’s proof that my day-to-day is far, far less poised and put together than the images above might make it seem, and a reminder that making actual memories beats out a the perfect filter combination and clever caption every single time.

First up… a favorite photo that was snapped this weekend! I made the drive down to Austin for the weekend for my first post-college “friend reunion.” Because of how busy the end of summer has been, I didn’t even realize until I got there just how much I’ve missed these gals! WOW was it good to see them. We did nothing. And by nothing, I mean we ate, sun bathed, chatted for hours and watched The Longest Ride. So maybe, depending on your definition, we did everything.

Next up… my sweet big Courtney drove in to Dallas on Monday night and I got to snatch her for a much-needed dinner date! (I tucked my pink dress from this post into jeans to mimic a top.) She and her cute hubby live in College Station, so it’s always a treat to pick up right where we last left off. Which always seems to happen over the course of a 3-hour Italian meal, incidentally enough. Not the worst thing ever.

Ok gang. I’m falling asleep as I type this… I’ve gotten into a bad habit of staying up working late this week and my body is not having it. Already looking forward to a weekend of long overdue sleep-for-hours-on-the-couch dates! Complete with the extended edition of Return of the King. #nerd So night night, friends! Well… “good morning” I suppose… since you’ll be reading this in the morning… right? Ok my brain is shutting down, I’m going to sleep. TTFN.
