my christmas list 2017

Ok friends… we’re officially five days away from Christmas! How? I do not know… but I do know that this year I got on top of my Christmas list for the first time in a while, and I’m excited to share it with y’all!

Let me clarify straight away that not all of these items are being seriously asked for… Santa would laugh in my face, y’all. Take the Michele watch and the Chloe wedges, for example. Those are two “not gonna happen but fun to think about anyways” items. Know what I mean? :)

What gift am I most hoping for? The beautiful Hermes Samourais scarf in this stunning, vibrant colorway! My friend Bridget has shared it on her Instagram over the past few months and I’ve seriously been drooling over it. I can’t decide whether I’d want to wear it or frame it as art, though. Thoughts?

I also can’t wait to read this book by the darling Emily Ley, which is just what I need to kick off the new year on a clean, de-cluttered slate. I wanted this Patagonia so badly that I gifted it to myself (oops) and I’m dreaming of this luxurious eye palette from my favorite makeup artist, Charlotte Tilbury!

We’ll see what Santa brings… but if I’m being honest, the gift I really want is a puppy! I’ve missed having a furry little friend running around my parent’s house and am hoping that by Christmas we have a new member in our family. Cross your fingers for me!

Now I want to hear from you. What are you asking for this year! Let me know in the comments below!

Love from Texas,

Kate

That scarf is beautiful! I think I would hang it as art :) I’m also asking for a Patagonia jacket… if I don’t get one as a gift, I plan to buy one for myself after Christmas!

Hang the scarf as art!! There’s very few Hermès pieces that are “too pretty to wear” but this is one of them! If you think you could use it in a future house (husband, kids, etc) I’d definitely frame!

I asked for a nude clutch from TDE, new PJ’s, and a new David Yurman bangle. Even though, I’d LOVE a puppy, being in Chicago it just isn’t feasible.

I love the sneakers. They’re so chic! I’ve always wanted to try Outdoor Voices. Are their leggings better than Lululemon leggings?

I would totally frame that scarf-it’s stunning! And then if you decided you wanted to wear it, you could just take it out ;)
