I don’t know what it was, but for some reason Dallas decided to show off yesterday. It seemed as if everything was dripping in the warmest golden light. Everywhere you turned, trees were flashing their brightest shades of red, orange and yellow as if they’d just caught up with the season. Finally, a fall dreamland…. never mind that we’re halfway into November! Us Texas gals will take what we can get.

I had been inside in this incredibly soft baseball tee all day (which I firmly believe every gal needs, it’s like wearing a cloud) and decided it was finally time to squeeze in a few minutes outside. Since it never leaves my side these days, using my favorite flannel as an extra layer was a no-brainer. Riding boots and a trusty longchamp rounded everything out… an easy ensemble for a beautiful fall day!

A little fun fact: the title of today’s post was inspired by my latest Snapstory (my username is LonestarSnaps)… I went through my five favorite country songs at the moment, and “Wrapped Around” by Brand Paisley was one of them! Felt fitting with the flannel, eh? :) If you want a quick day-maker, watch the music video and wait for 3:20.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! It’s been a busy one for me, adjusting back to a normal schedule and fighting off jet lag. But y’all, I think I’ve finally conquered it! Thank goodness. To play it safe, I’ll be laying low this weekend (while maybe wearing this the entire time.) And you bet that includes seeing the new Hunger Games movie! Who’s with me?

Finally, I just want to let y’all know I’m super thankful for each of you. Super DUPER thankful.
