I’ve had one request come in time after time again over the past few weeks that, I have to confess, has put a smile on my face. “Do you have any recommendations for fall wedding guest dresses?”

While weddings have changed so much over the past few months thanks to the global pandemic we find ourselves in, I love knowing that they’re still happening. And while they may look different than before, that’s something worth celebrating!

So today, I’m happy to share 36 fall wedding guest dress ideas with you! As I scoured all of my favorite online destinations to put this post together, I noticed that pieces I loved at non-astronomical price points seemed to be few and far between. But I’m hopeful this selection, covering multiple different dress codes, colors and costs, leads you in the right direction!

Always my favorite question to ask… if you had to pick one dress from this assortment, which would it be? I actually received this one in the mail yesterday and wow. It is beautiful on!

Before signing off, I wanted to share a quick little tip for wearing lighter-colored dresses into cooler months. I think the simplest, and my personal favorite, way to transition a dress through seasons is to add a fabulous pair of more moody-colored statement earrings. Take the light blue dress from above. Wear it with espadrilles and white statement earrings, and you’ve got a dress fit for summer. But switch those out for navy statement earrings and heels, and you’re set for fall!
