As classic and preppy as I love to dress, there’s something about the breezy, billowy silhouettes of Free People that manage to get me out of the button-up look and into more of a laid-back mindset. And I love it. I came across this piece while shopping online (#shocker) and instantly knew it deserved a spot in my cozy-cardigan collection! Finally trying it on in person proved it was even better than I expected.
You know those incredible Pinterest pins of that girl in that perfect messy bun bundled up in that cool, chic cardigan? The ones that never click through to the exact cardigan? (Or the secret on how to get that perfect messy bun? Still haven’t figured that one out.) I couldn’t help but think of that when I tried this sweater… it’s a piece that is simply stunning in the way it lays. The best part is that it looks incredibly chic all while being incredibly comfortable.
I packed this cutie up for my trip to NYC last week, and threw it on one morning for a walk through Central Park with my mama. Now that I’m back home, it’s officially become my wear-anytime-I’m-at-home cardigan, and also my wear-anytime-I-leave-my-house cardigan. So, yep. One heck of a buy, and one I’ll be wearing all the way into spring! (Imagine how cute it would look with a casual tee and cutoff jean shorts!)
