I have a funny question for you… stick with me. Have you ever come across a piece of clothing that simply reflects you in it’s very essence? Almost as if it was engineered with your exact personality and style in mind? I had a moment when I came across this outrageously fun pink party dress at H&M the other day. The vibrant fuchsia shade, the fluted hem… every detail poppy, unique and fun! It was a mad dash to the dressing room to ensure that it was just as good on (it was) followed by an elated skip out of the storefront after it rang up to a grand total of $50.00.
Steal. Of. A. Deal. Y’all.
DRESS pink satin dress (wearing size 4, usually a 0 in other stores) | SHOES pink pumps (old Sam Edelman, very similar linked) | LIP COLOR bobbi brown pink pop (no longer available) with turkish delight gloss | CLUTCH white clutch (old Elaine Turner, similar linked)
I think every gal deserves to have a delightfully fun, whimsically girly, bright pink dress in her closet. I can’t think of anything that’s more fun to wear! And since we graduated from playing with Barbie quite some time ago, we can at least settle for the next best thing, right… dressing like her! This frock in particular would make for a dreamy t Valentine’s date ensemble (still accepting applications over here) but is in no way confined to that one holiday. Homecomings, cocktail parties, weddings… it would take the cake at any! Too excited to have a “barbie” dress in my closet for fun events to come. Anddd… cue ‘Barbie Girl.’
Now that I have that stuck in your head for the next 24 hours (my apologies) I thought I’d wish you a happy Friday! Yippee! Anyone have fun plans? I’m so excited to be attending a “DTown” weekend with my church small group of precious sixth grade girls. If I had to bet, I’d predict a lot of sugar, games, sing-alongs and hilarious stories are in my very near future. I can’t wait! Now off to chug a few Monster energy drinks in preparation…
