Happy Saturday, y’all! Don’t you love that we get a whole day off before the Easter festivities even start? It’s my absolute favorite holiday of the year, and one very small reason has to do with the “dress code.” It seems like everyone is in pastels, bow ties, and all things sweet. (My dad even has an “Easter bow tie” he sports each year. Two words: polka dots.)
If there’s one brand that truly embodies spring, it’s Lilly! I always look to Lilly Pulitzer for Easter, and wasn’t disappointed this year. I couldn’t say no to this lace shift for it’s gorgeous pale pink skirt and the amazing lace detail. Plus, the fit is effortlessly classic and lady like. What I love about Lilly dresses is their timeless nature. I still wear those I purchased four years ago! It’s always fun to add something new, though, and I know I’ll be getting lots of use out of this beauty at the many graduations and wedding showers ahead. (Another thing I’ll be getting lots of use out of this spring and summer? These wedges! Seriously the most comfortable heels I’ve ever put on. Dreaming about wearing them beach-side in this gorgeous maxi dress!)
While I love any excuse to wear a pretty dress, there’s a much truer reason I am so looking forward to tomorrow. That’s because the event we celebrate tomorrow is the reason I am able to live in unwavering hope regardless of circumstances. Knowing His love changes everything, and if that is something you want to know more about, I’d love nothing more than for you to reach out – [email protected] Wishing you a wonderful, beautiful, pastel-filled Sunday no matter how you’re spending it!
Love from Texas,
P.S. All of this Lilly Pulitzer talk has got the Lilly + Target collab on my mind. Did you see the incredible look book?! It looks like it’s going to be magic. You can’t get here soon enough, April 19th!
