Finally! My very favorite season (spring!) has arrived, along with my very favorite month (april!) and my very favorite weather (sunshine!) What could be more fitting than a combination of my favorite spring trends at the moment? There’s too much to love. High-waisted skirts (can’t get over this fluted one), girly pastels (this clutch is all) and easy crop tops (I tied up a button down), which all mesh seamlessly for this laid-back, feminine spring look. But my very favorite trend-of-the-moment? Embellished sandals!
Each spring, I make it a point to scoop up a pair of sandals I absolutely love. (Did you see my amazing find in Paris?) Since I truly live in them all of spring and summer, I’m comfortable spending a little more on them to get great quality and style. These beauties fit that bill perfectly! The saddle brown leather is so versatile, and the jewel design is super chic – far from gaudy and overly-girly this style can sometimes go. They’ve already become a daily go-to, and I can’t recommend them enough! (Also loving this pair for under $20!) Just a heads up, you’ll be seeing a lot more of these in the months to come. Three cheers for sandal weather!
Be sure to check back in tomorrow (yes, a Saturday post!) to see my Easter look. It’s pastel and girly and wonderful and I think you’ll love it. Chances that I will be able to fit into it post Easter-brunching? Slim to none.
Love from Texas,
P.S. Did anyone think my hair looked more mermaidy than normal in these pics?! Confession time – hair extensions! I received this Luxy set last summer but hadn’t ever put them to be use because… well… hair extensions have always kinda scared me. Know what I mean? But this past week, inspired by some YouTube hair tutorials, I decided to trim them to my natural hair length just to add a little body. I seriously loved how they have turned out! If you’ve always wanted more body without the crazy Rapunzelesque length extensions normally give, that little trick might be perfect for you!
